Design / Build

Every successful, on budget project, starts with a comprehensive design and engineering plan. To that end, the Erskine Group works closely with the homeowner, the architect, and interior designer to develop construction plans, engineering plans, and documentation before any project commences. Home Cinemas, music playback spaces, and recording rooms require fastidious attention to detail in both the construction and design phases to assure the homeowner and project team the proper acoustic foot print is built into the final result. Our experienced teams work through these issues on a daily basis and frequently turn out to be the best economic choice.

Our capabilities can not only encompass the ongoing consultation during the build phase, but we can also provide full construction services to any project where precise requirements must be met with a high quality result in fit and finish.

While our focus is on sound isolation and acoustic requirements of cinema and music playback spaces, we can be engaged to design and/or build quiet spaces into new or existing homes. Where noise can be a distraction to everyday life, or sleep at night, the Erskine Group can deliver "quiet" to your home.

Fabric Wall Coverings/Treatments

The elegance of your room need not be compromised by acoustic requirements. Our fabric installation team has been installing fabric wall and ceiling treatments for over 15 years. Our installers do not utilize short cut "stretch track" fabric systems. We install fabric the "old fashioned" way with straight weaves, without seams, puckers or wrinkles in the finished product.

Fixed Cost Pricing

Our Home Cinema design services are presented in three fixed price tiers ranging from $2000 to $5000. We are always happy to discuss the appropriate level of service based upon your intended needs. Design and Engineering fees are again based upon a fixed price model. Once the design for a project has been completed, we can provide a fixed price quotation for construction, installation, fabric and acoustic installation, programming and calibration.
